Pinellas County Property Appraiser

Mike has served as the Pinellas County Property Appraiser since January 3, 2017. Prior to his election, he was a senior managing director at a successful appraisal firm in the county. With over 30 years of experience, Mike holds multiple certifications, including Florida Real Estate Broker’s license, State-Certified General Real Estate Appraisal, and the MAI and CFA designations. He is an active leader in the appraisal community, serving as Vice President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and in various roles with state and national property organizations.

A lifelong resident of Pinellas County, Mike is committed to improving the appraisal process through technology and fiscal responsibility. He has received numerous professional accolades, including the R.R. "Bob" Walden Award and the Homeowner Hero Award. Outside of work, Mike enjoys music, sports, and outdoor activities, and he lives in Largo with his wife Michele.
