Mr. Mark V. Jordan is a lifelong Floridian and has a deep connection to the culture and community of “The Heart of The Sunshine State”, beautiful Lake County. Mark has been married to his wife Wendy for 34 years. The Jordans have two beautiful daughters and are very proud grandparents to an amazing grandson. Mark graduated from Umatilla High School. He continued his education in Emergency Service and Organizational Management at Lake-Sumter State College and Warner University.

Mark retired from a 30-year career in emergency medical services, where he worked in various roles from fire fighter and paramedic to EMS quality improvement manager. His career included diverse experiences in leadership and service. He also served his colleagues for several years, representing them on their pension board. Upon retiring from emergency services, he turned his passion for woodworking into a small business, Hangar Houseware. Mark is also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hiking, running and traveling.In 2024, he was appointed by Governor Desantis to the North Lake Hospital District board of directors, further extending his commitment to public health and safety community service.
