
Honorable Ayesha Solomon, CFA
Alachua County Property Appraiser
Ayesha Solomon grew up in East Gainesville, where she witnessed both the challenges facing underserved communities and the resilience that defines them. As a Girl Scout, she developed leadership skills that shaped her commitment to public service and community advocacy. Today, she is passionate about ensuring all residents have access to essential government services, including those provided by the Property Appraiser’s Office.
Elected Alachua County Property Appraiser in 2020 and inaugurated in January 2021, Ayesha brings more than two decades of experience within the office. She began her career there in 2001 as a Customer Service Specialist and steadily advanced through multiple departments, including Residential, Commercial, and Tangible Personal Property, before serving as Administrative Manager.
Ayesha earned her Certified Florida Appraiser (CFA) designation, a Florida Real Estate license, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University, and an MBA with a specialization in Project Management from Northcentral University. She is also a graduate of Leadership Gainesville Class 46.Under her leadership, the Alachua County Property Appraiser’s Office is focused on maintaining a fair and equitable tax roll through transparency, innovative technology, expanded community outreach, and exceptional customer service for all taxpayers.
