Indian River County Property Appraiser

Wesley Davis, CFA, is a lifelong Indian River County resident whose career has reflected decades of public service and community involvement. Davis served on the Indian River County School Board from 1994 to 2000 and as a member of the Indian River County Commission from 2004 to 2016. In 2019 Davis became only the sixth person elected to the office of Indian River County Property Appraiser. He continues to serve in that role today.

After attending the University of Florida, Davis built his professional career in real estate and became widely recognized throughout the region as Indian River County’s most respected auctioneers. Over the years, he conducted countless commercial auctions while also lending his trademark energy and humor to hundreds of charity fundraisers, agricultural events, and civic gatherings across Indian River County.

Davis is a Certified Florida Appraiser (CFA) and an active member of the Property Appraisers’ Association of Florida (PAAF). Known for his deep roots in the community and practical approach to public service, he remains closely connected to the agricultural heritage of Indian River County.

Wesley and his wife, Tonya, live on the Davis family farm, where they enjoy spending time with their two children, a growing number of grandchildren, and, as Wesley proudly notes, “lots of cows.”
