Walton County Property Appraiser

Gary was raised in Walton County, loved growing up in the area, and enjoyed the outdoors. After graduating from Paxton High School, he earned an AA/AS in Criminal Justice Technology from Northwest Florida State College. Gary continued his education and obtained an Assessment Administration Specialist (AAS) professional designation from the International Association of Assessing Officers and received the Certified Florida Appraiser (CFA) designation from the Florida Department of Revenue.

Gary first started his career with the Walton County Property Appraiser’s office. He continued his career in the appraisal field at the Florida Department of Revenue for 15 years and later served as the Land Department Supervisor for the Okaloosa County Property Appraiser prior to being elected Walton County Property Appraiser in August 2020.

Gary and his wife, Brianne Gregor, are the proud parents of their daughter and son. Together, they enjoy family time spent outdoors at the ballpark, fishing, hunting, and traveling.
