Damon graduated from Trenton High School in 1987. After graduating he immediately went to work for his father in construction. He started his career with the Property Appraiser's office in the summer of 1989. He has worked in every aspect of the office during this time. He was elected Property Appraiser in 2005. He is married to his wife Xina and has three children: Hailie, Hadon and Nathan.
